Senior Sustainability Manager

BlackBerry is looking for a motivated and dynamic Senior Sustainability Manager to join our team and drive our sustainability programs and initiatives.

WHAT YOU WIL DO:

• Develop and implement sustainability initiatives in-line with BlackBerry's business strategy, sustainability strategy, and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
• Use a data-driven, science-based, approach to setting our sustainability goals and measuring our sustainability results.
• Lead and manage external requirements for sustainability performance reporting, including customer requirements and sustainability ratings companies' surveys.
• Identify, manage, and lead mutually beneficial partnerships that progress our sustainability objectives.
• Maintain, expand and project lead BlackBerry's carbon neutral status, across scope 1, 2 and 3 GHG emissions initiative.
• Partner with internal teams to develop communications, for key stakeholders and audiences.
• Monitor the sustainability landscape and drive alignment on positions and compliance with regulations.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

• Bachelor's degree with a minimum 8 years of relevant experience or a Master's degree with a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience.
• Relevant knowledge and experience, which includes sustainability common practices and standards.
• Strong data and science analytical skills, with the ability to develop programs and initiatives based on the analytics.
• Proven track record in building strong and trusted relationships with clients and partners, based on creative thinking.
• A high-performance and high-integrity individual, who is passionate about sustainability and can achieve a strong integration between business strategy and sustainability strategy.
