Senior System Administration Engineer

N-iX is looking for a skillful Senior System Administration Engineer.
You will join our Cloud Operations team and work closely together with our dedicated Cloud Engineers, Cloud Architect, Security Engineer, and DevOps Engineers. You will work with monitoring, user support, software deployment, maintenance, production migrations, and cloud infrastructure improvements. The Regional Cloud Operations (RCO) team in EMEA manages several environments with different setups and complexity.

You will be part of long-term initiatives and feature improvements across our environments. You conform standards and theory into practice, and you have a clear understanding of what we need to improve and implement based on our deliverables.

Responsibilities:

• Managing production migrations, targeted migrations
• Upgrading critical key components such as VPN solutions and AD controllers
• Detailed performance optimization, environment and components modernization
• Day-to-day monitoring
• L2-3 support including customer on/off-boarding and troubleshooting

Skills and competencies:

• Experience supporting cloud platforms based on AWS
• Windows server administration (AD, MS Remote Desktop services etc.)
• Experience in L2-3 support and customer support
• Experience in production monitoring
• Strong troubleshooting skills
• Proficiency in network administration
• MSSQL administration
• Monitoring & logging tool experience
• Experience with Agile methodologies
• Strong motivation to continuously learn and improve your skills
• Communicative and a team player
• Upper-Intermediate in English
• Ukrainian language Advanced or higher
