Job Description

Identiv Inc. needs an inquisitive, capable, motivated, security-minded Sr System Administrator to independently work on all aspects of the configuration and maintenance of our network and computer systems. We run a fast-paced and lean organization with a supportive atmosphere. Resourcefulness is a necessary skill in this role. You will need to be able to diagnose a variety of issues and resolve problems quickly. You should also have the ability to collaborate with a variety of interdisciplinary teams and users. Your goal will be to ensure that our technology infrastructure runs smoothly and efficiently while supporting the growth of the business.

System Administrator responsibilities and duties:• Provide multi-site technical support for both hardware and software issues our users encounter• Manage the configuration and operation of client-based computer operating systems• Respond immediately to security or usability concerns• Veeam backup management of key systems• Upgrade systems and processes as required for enhanced functionality and security• Google Workspace Email / Google Drive administration• Antivirus / Anti-malware management• Server / Workstation patch management• AWS system management• SIEM management (detect, analyze, and respond to security threats)• Management of MS Hyper-V & VMWare• Zoom VOIP phone system user management• Atlassian Confluence/Jira management• Reports directly to the Global Director of Network Engineering

Requirements• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent training/experience• Proficiency in: Windows Server 2016 & up, Windows 10 & up / Office 2016 & up, VMware, Hyper-V, AWS, Atlassian Confluence/Jira• Certifications a plus: Microsoft (Fundamentals, MCDST, MCTS, MCP, MCSE), CompTIA A+, CompTIA Security+, etc.• Ability to prioritize and quickly troubleshoot and resolve problems using a wide variety of tools• Ability to adapt quickly to new technologies and changing business requirements• Respond to emergency situations effectively, maintaining poise and focus• Availability and Willingness to Perform Duties During Extended / Off Hours

At Identiv, we believe in the importance of pay equity. Your base salary is an important part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. Your salary/compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience.

In the spirit of pay transparency, the base salary range for this position is between $100,000 - $130,000 annually.
