Systems Integration & Development (SID) is an award-winning IT solutions provider headquartered in Rockville, MD and is seeking a Senior System Administrator. This is a full-time position based in Tuscaloosa, Alabama.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain the company's server and network infrastructure
• Perform system administration tasks such as installing, configuring, and troubleshooting servers and network devices
• Monitor system performance and ensure high availability and reliability
• Implement security measures and ensure compliance with company policies and standards
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support projects and initiatives
• Provide technical support and guidance to junior system administrators
• Document system configurations, processes, and procedures
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and make recommendations for system improvements
• Additional duties as assigned

• 5+ years of experience as a system administrator
• Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems
• Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V
• Experience with network technologies such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP
• Knowledge of security best practices and technologies
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
