Summary
The System Administrator role is responsible for the technical execution of development-related projects and day-to-day operations: troubleshoot production issues, handle administration, configure & develop requirements, maintain application security controls and create customized solutions. Typically reports to Project Leader or Manager. This role is a hybrid opportunity servicing clients in the Laguna Beach and South Orange County area.
Responsibilities

• Provide issue resolution (network (Palo Alto), server (VMware), end-user support (Windows)), system integration, and documentation services
• Maintains and supports the integrity of the operating system environment and various computer systems
• Administers installs and troubleshoots a variety of operating systems
• Performs systems maintenance tasks, such as system back-up, recovery, and file maintenance
• Schedules installs, and tests system software upgrades
• Configures software and resolves technical problems
• Monitors and maintains software licensing and maintenance agreements

Requirements

• 15+ years of industry experience in IT, Public Safety, or a related industry
• Ability to work outside of standard business hours, when necessary, to perform system upgrades
• Experience with Microsoft Office products
• Possess strong oral and written communication skills
• Typically requires a bachelor's degree

Compensation Notice
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $105k/year in our lowest geographic market up to $125k/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on several factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. SDI Presence LLC is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
