Job Description

Torch is seeking a Senior System Administrator for the following actions.

Identify and ensure all appropriate STIGs have been applied to network endpoints (Windows,Linux,VMware,etc).

Identify and ensure all end points have been patched to meet ACAS scan compliance.

Responsible for reviewing system configuration changes and understanding both the technical and security impact of those changes.

Conduct security self inspections to ensure secure operation of customer networks and ongoing accreditation.

Provide system administration and hardware/software support for customer networks.

Deploy and manage compliance automation services for Windows and Linux systems.

Preferred Work Experience:

Advanced knowledge of deployment and configuration of HBSS.

Advanced knowledge of deployment and configuration of ACAS.

Advanced knowledge of host based firewall configuration and deployment.

Ability to work with a team of diverse skill sets (Windows, VMware, Cisco) to provide solutions.

Job Requirements

Required Work Experience:

Bachelor's Degree preferred, or an Associate Degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience. Over 8 years related systems administration experience.

At least seven years of system administration on 800-53 compliant networks.

Required Security+ certification and a OS certifications.

Experience with scripting for automation (Python, BASH, Shell, Ansible).

Ability to interpret STIG, SCAP, and vulnerability scans and develop a solution to resolve open items.

Experience automating system baselining and compliance documentation.

Currently active SECRET clearance with the ability to obtain TS.
