In our focused therapeutic areas, our revolutionary technology, Simoa®, is helping researchers advance the science of precision health. Simoa® is changing the way in which the biology of health and disease is studied by giving researchers the ability to closely examine critical biomarkers in most therapeutic areas including neurology, infectious disease, oncology, inflammation, and cardiology. To continue our growth, we are hiring a Senior System Engineer to join our engineering team in Billerica, MA.

The Senior System Engineer will develop and execute plans for the ongoing development and support of Quanterix’ s ultra-sensitive immunoassay instrumentation products. What We’ll Expect From You:

  • B.S. or M.S. in a relevant engineering discipline, such as mechanical or electrical engineering
  • 5+ years in a technical role related to development or sustaining of automated instrumentation products, preference given to life science research or diagnostic products
  • Knowledge of statistical data analysis methods and tools to characterize system performance and evaluate the impact of various parameters in complex systems
  • Experience working within a quality system for life science research or diagnostic products (e.g., ISO9001, ISO13485 or FDA 820)
  • Experience with the application of failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA) as part of system design and root cause investigation of product nonconformance
