Position Summary:
We are looking for a passionate and engaging technologist to be a critical part of our Enterprise IT organization. This individual will be based at our Los Angeles headquarters and be the escalation point of contact for both onsite and cloud systems, as well as remote support for our remote systems and offices. The senior system engineer will be working under the direction of the enterprise systems manager and closely with the security business partners to transition and document IT infrastructure/security projects from engineering to production support.
Core Responsibilities:

• Day to day escalation support for backend and cloud systems
• Prepare, maintain, and keep updated IT procedures and documentation related to our processes and platforms operations
• Collaborate with department personnel and design innovative solutions for all IT issues for all of the warehouse and corporate systems technologies
• Ensure the company is adhering to information security best practices
• Maintain the hardware lifecycle and inventory management of all IT equipment and systems
• Sustain high-availability service levels and ensure fulfillment of business-wide service levels and operational support objectives.
• Lead individual contributor in IT infrastructure and security projects in designing and evaluating new technologies

Skills and Qualifications:

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in enterprise IT and technology field
• Possess a Bachelor's degree or higher in the field of engineering, computer science or equivalent advance technology field of study
• Strong knowledge of and experience with design, implementation, maintenance, upgrades and operations of multiple enterprise IT disciplines, such desktops, servers, networking, mobility, communication tools, and enterprise billing and collaboration systems.
• Strong working and practical knowledge of industry IT standards and regulations.
• Experience with change management lifecycle, development and regular preparation of management status and key metrics reports
• Ability to work with extremely technical staff working on very sensitive subject areas and with extremely sensitive information
• High level of personal integrity, with the ability to professionally handle confidential matters and exudes the appropriate level of judgment and maturity
• Must be a strong communicator with exceptional verbal and written communication skills to translate the vision and strategy into clear priorities and direction, both internally and externally.

• Experience in designing, deploying, and optimizing the below technologies (SaaS/Cloud based IT operations systems is a plus)

• System and network monitoring

Education Level: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
Field of Study: Computer Engineering or Science, Information Sciences Technology, Management Information System, or related fields
Years of Experience: Generally, requires 5+ years related experience.
