What You'll Do

• MicroStrategy Suite v11.x :
• Planning, Maintenance, Operations and Upgrade.
• User Management + Server and Project management + config
• System Manager and Basic Bat - setup and new script creation and deployment + Management for automated tasks.
• Subscription management and cleanup
• Project Duplication and New Project setup
• Environment Syncup + Monthly migrations
• Narrowcast Services creations + Management
• EM + PA setup and monitoring. Occasional Manual loads.
• Security and ACL profiling.
• Maintaining ODBC and custom connectors.
• Work with Dev/Prod teams for any enhancement or new features.
• Setup and manage custom monitors for various services and servers.
• Basic knowledge of Monitoring scripts using DOS + custom application like Nagios/Grafana.
• License Management.
• Able to analyze logs for any breakfix issue.

What You Know

• A minimum of 5 to 8 years of proven professional experience is required.

QlikView + NPrint:

• Platform upgrade and management
• User provisioning and license clean-up
• Server Performance monitoring
• Queue monitoring
• Custom PowerShell scripting experience to manage /modify/ setup new scripts for daily
• alert/monitoring/custom job tasks.
• Basic Windows server OS level know how.
• Security and ACL profiling for NFS and DFS.
• Annual upgrade planning and deployments.
• Log analysis for failed Jobs and Session tracking.

Crystal Report:

• Server Management + Report Task monitoring
• Regular clean-up on task queue.
• User Management
• Custom Alert scripting
• ODBC setup and updates

Tableau:

• Upgrade + Monitoring + User Management
• Server Status tracking and License clean-up
• Custom deployment as needed.
• Maintaining ODBC and custom connectors.

Additionally:

• Basic OS level knowledge on Windows Server + Automation/Scheduling Knowledge including basic ControlM know-how.
• SDLC knowledge
• Able to provide server estimation based on current usage and future planning

Education

• A bachelor's degree in information technology, software development management, software engineering, computer science, or a related field.
