SENIOR SYSTEM ADMINISTRATOR

Nordic's Senior System Administrator will design, implement, and maintain the organization's application systems and/or IT cloud infrastructure. The Senior System Administrator will provide an architectural framework for information system development, maintenance, and enhancement efforts with a focus on ITSM. The Senior System Administrator will work closely with IT leadership on road maps for applications and align development plans the for the organization's infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

Performs duties and responsibilities corresponding with assigned functions within department which may include, but are not limited to, any combination of the following tasks:

• Adhering to existing ITIL processes and best practices, and participate in development of new processes
• Participating in planning, architecting, implementation and testing phases of Nordic's cloud system infrastructure including the ITSM, Cherwell, configuration enhancements and upgrades. This includes planning for impact of changes to users and infrastructure and maintaining policies, procedures and trainings for supported applications
• Maintaining a cloud and security mindset throughout the life cycle of the solutions being developed
• Understanding user and process requirements provided through high quality deliverables
• Researching areas of improvements and design/implement enhancements
• Monitoring Azure resource utilization and provide reports and notifications on potential limits
• Tracking application runtimes and key business processes
• Maintaining configuration management and service delivery while ensuring Nordic's security policies are enforced
• Developing and automate Microsoft Azure based technologies and processes
• Creating best practices for cloud operations and be consultative to business project teams throughout duration of a project
• Collaborating with teams across the business for project planning and implementations
• Assisting support team to resolve cases on as needed basis
