Description of Task to be Performed:  

AnaVation is seeking a Senior Systems Administrator with a strong commitment to ensuring efficient system management. Key responsibilities include: 

- Administer, monitor, and maintain operating systems across network enclaves, including workstations, servers, and web servers. 

- Conduct routine system health checks, backups, and recovery operations to ensure system integrity and data/media recoverability. 

- Respond to and resolve technical issues promptly to minimize downtime and maintain system performance. 

- Implement and support security policies, procedures, and standards to safeguard system and data integrity.

- Conduct routine hardware and software audits to ensure compliance with established standards. 

- Work closely with the Lead Systems Administrator to execute system updates, patches, and changes.

- Develop and promote standard operating procedures and maintain comprehensive documentation of system configurations and support. 

This position requires an active Top-Secret clearance and the ability to obtain SCI accesses with a polygraph. 

This position is on-site with our customer in Washington, DC. After the initial phase of on-site support, there is potential for remote work, subject to customer approval. 

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience.
• Education : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or related field. 

Preferred Qualifications:

• Strong experience with Active Directory, group policies, and network services. 
• Experience with cloud-based environments, particularly Azure. 
• Experience in a federal IT environment.
