Senior Systems Administrator

The EOS Network Foundation (ENF) is looking to hire a Senior Systems Administrator to our amazing team. The job responsibilities, requirements and nice to haves are listed below

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or systems engineering
• Eight years experience (post BS) working in a Linux environment in AWS
• Expert in Linux system administration (Ubuntu preferred)
• Expert knowledge of Amazon AWS particularly EC2, RDS, Network, Route 53
• Strong knowledge of Google GCP (secondary to AWS)
• Strong programming skills in Shell, Python, or Javascript
• Experience with Github, Github Actions/Workflows, and Github Packages
• Experience with Terraform and Ansible
• Remote only - must be able to work extremely productively from home
• US or Canada resident

Job Responsibilities:

• Manage the AWS Cloud environment for the EOS Blockchain and EOS EVM software
• Work with the EOS core development team to specify and build the AWS environment
• Monitor AWS environment for issues and strive for continuous improvement
• Collaborate with Principal Engineer on GCP Github Workflow environment

• Experience with Terraform and Ansible
• Remote only - must be able to work extremely productively from home
• US or Canada resident

Nice to have:

• Live in the Eastern Time zone of the US or Canada
• Familiarity with MacOS and Apple hardware
• Basic understanding of blockchain technology
• Basic understanding of cryptocurrency industry
