Who you are

You are a critical and creative problem solver, and possess a broad understanding of hardware and software technology and their application in a business environment. As the Sr. Systems Administrator you will design and support infrastructure components of the Virtual and Windows environment including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, SCOM and SCCM. The Senior Systems Administer also performs investigation, diagnostic testing and repair/ resolution of system, hardware, software and infrastructure.

As a Senior Systems Administrator, a typical week might include the following

• Support and maintain a complex Active Directory infrastructure and both virtual and physical server platforms and environments.
• Build system automations using PowerShell and other scripting languages utilizing orchestration tools to drive consistency and compliance.
• Install and maintain 3rd party applications in support of a financial institution including imaging, collections, lending, and accounting systems.
• Develop system documentation containing key infrastructure components and network flows.
• Respond to inquiries from staff and outside vendors to provide technical assistance, support, and system issues and assist in outage remediation efforts.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

This role might be for you if you have

• 8+ years of Systems Administrator, Windows Engineer, MCSE, and/or Virtual Systems Engineer experience.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Microsoft MCSE, MCTS, or MCSA certification.
• Scripting and programming languages including PowerShell, C#, VBScript, etc.
• Enterprise Data Center, Windows Server, Database, and Network Administration experience.
• Expert knowledge of automation methods.
• Programming and scripting experience (C#, PowerShell, VBScript, Perl, etc)
• VMWare Server virtualization.
• Experience supporting multi-domain Active Directory forests (DNS, DHCP, Group Policies) Microsoft Active Directory, Exchange, Skype, SharePoint, and SQL.
• Infrastructure design and administration.
• Proven background with vendors and multi-level lines of business organizations.
• Superb communication and time management skills, with the ability to work on multiple active projects.

Bonus points if you have

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or related.
• Prior experience as a Network Engineer, Network Administrator, Infrastructure Engineer, Infrastructure Administrator.
• Backup administration including scheduling and solving issues; Storage, Unix, and Citrix Server administration including Netscalers.
• WebServices, websites, and other web related technologies.
• Experience supporting fault-tolerant, highly available, clustered solutions.
• Cisco CCNA and VMWare VCP certifications.
