Description of Task to be Performed:  

AnaVation is seeking a Senior Systems Administrator specializing in Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) to take on critical hands-on responsibilities, including: 

- Oversee and maintain PKI systems to ensure secure communications and authentication. 

- Handle the issuance, renewal, and revocation of certificates. 

- Resolve PKI-related issues and ensure system availability. 

- Work with cybersecurity teams to enhance PKI security. 

- Install, configure, and maintain workstations, servers, and web servers. 

- Manage software installations and upgrades, optimize system performance, and ensure data integrity and recoverability. 

- Develop and enforce procedures, conduct audits, and maintain system documentation. 

This position requires an active Top-Secret clearance and the ability to obtain SCI accesses with a polygraph. 

This position is on-site with our customer in Washington, DC. After the initial phase of on-site support, there is potential for remote work, subject to customer approval.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience.
• Education : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or related field. 

Preferred Qualifications:

• Strong understanding of encryption technologies, certificate authorities, and key management. 
• Experience with federal PKI systems.
