Senior Systems Administrator-ST

The Senior Systems Administrator possesses a broad understanding of hardware and software technology and its application in a business environment. The Senior Systems Administrator is responsible for designing and supporting all key infrastructure components of the Virtual and Windows environment including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, SCOM and SCCM. The Administrator's skills must also include expert knowledge of PowerShell and other automation methods. The Administrator's must be proficient in with a virtual and windows platform environment. The Senior Systems Administer also performs investigation, diagnostic testing and repair/ resolution of system, hardware, software and infrastructure.

What you will do here:

Support and maintain a complex Microsoft Active Directory infrastructure.

Support and maintain the virtual and physical server platforms and environments.

Create system automations using PowerShell and other scripting languages leveraging orchestration tools to drive consistency and compliance.

Install and maintain 3rd party applications in support of a financial institution including imaging, collections, lending, and accounting systems.

Develop system documentation containing key infrastructure components and network flows

Respond to inquiries from staff and outside vendors to provide technical assistance, support, and system issues and assist in outage remediation efforts

Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

What you will need:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or related Or equivalent combination of education and experience required.

4+ years of Senior Systems Administrator, Windows Engineer, MCSE, and/or Virtual Systems Engineer experience required.

4+ years experience working in an Enterprise Data Center required.

4+ years experience Programming and scripting experience (e.g. C#, PowerShell, VBScript, Perl) required.

4+ years experience working with Virtualized servers using VMWare required.

4+ years experience supporting multi-domain Active Directory forests (DNS, DHCP, Group Policies) required.

4+ years experience working with vendors and multi-level lines of business organizations required.

1+ years experience as a Network Administrator or Infrastructure Administrator preferred.

1+ years experience with Storage administration preferred.

1+ years experience with Citrix Server administration including Netscalers preferred.

1+ years experience with Backup administration including scheduling and troubleshooting issues preferred.

Windows Server Administration required.

Microsoft Active Directory, Exchange, Skype, SharePoint, and SQL required.

Database Administration required.

Network Administration required.

Server and Infrastructure design and administration required.

Scripting and programming languages including PowerShell, C#, VBScript, required.

Unix Administration required.

WebServices, websites, and other web related technologies required.

Supporting fault-tolerant, highly available, clustered solutions required.

Excellent communication skills required.

Project management skills required.

Critical thinking skills and creative problem solver required.

Excellent time management skills with the ability to work on multiple active projects required.

Microsoft MCSE, MCTS, MCSA required.

Cisco CCNA preferred.

VMWare VCP preferred.
