Job Description

• Collaborate with a team to gather user requirements and manage vendors efficiently
• Perform functional, technical and database design of business application system
• Ensure the system functionality and reliability through thorough testing
• Communicate with offshore development team and offer support to team members in addressing technical and programming issues
• Create comprehensive documentation for all developed systems
• Provide technical support and assistance to end-users, addressing any system issues that arise
• Collaborate with other departments to identify and address system integration requirements

Qualifications

• Recognized bachelor’s degree or above in information technology or related disciplines with 6 years of relevant working experience
• Solid experience and knowledge in web application development is preferred with
  - backend technology (including Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, SQL, PL/SQL)
  - frontend technology (including AngularJS, jQuery, HTML5)
• Hand-on experience on RESTful APIs and microservice architecture.
• Hand-on experience on common relational database such as Oracle, POSTGRESQL, MSSQL etc.
• Proven record in version control systems like Git, software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall), and familiarity with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, or similar project management software is preferred.
• Fluent in Cantonese, good command of written English
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously with a strong work ethic
• Have good problem-solving, analytical and interpersonal skills 
• Candidates with less experience would be considered as System Analyst
