Senior Systems Corporate Analyst (FP&A)

We’re looking for a Senior Analyst, Financial Systems to assist with developing a roadmap, building the financial planning solutions at Fivetran, maintaining FP&A technologies, integration with enterprise systems as well as integrated business planning, and partnering with various business owners across the organization to support financial planning and analysis process and infrastructure.
This is a full-time position based out of our US, any state.
Technologies You’ll Use
Google sheets, SQL, Looker, Sigma, Pigment, Datarails, Anaplan, Adaptive Planning, Vena and any other FP&A too
What You’ll Do
- Assist in evaluating the current FP&A systems, which includes financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting tools.Â
- Develop a comprehensive strategy to enhance and redefine the FP&A systems to align with industry-standard processes and organizational objectives.Â
- Assist in implementing FP&A system enhancements, including defining project scope, objectives, timelines, and resource requirements.Â
- Lead the integration of FP&A systems with other financial and operational systems to ensure data consistency and integrity.Â
- Identify opportunities to streamline and automate financial planning and analysis processes for increased efficiency and accuracy.Â
- Foster a close partnership and collaboration with business and technology collaborators and processes.Â
- Collaborate with finance teams to understand business requirements and align FP&A systems accordingly.Â
- Stay abreast of emerging trends and technologies in FP&A systems and processes, proactively identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.Â
- Create ad-hoc financial models and analysis to support specific projects or initiatives.Â
- Continuously evaluate and improve financial models to enhance their accuracy and usefulness.Â
- Manage projects and vendors effectively.
Skills We’re Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in financial planning, analysis, system implementation and process improvement.
- Strong proficiency in financial planning and analysis software (e.g., Adaptive Insights, Anaplan, Pigment, Vena, any other) and advanced knowledge of Google Sheets.Â
- Familiarity with database management and business intelligence tools is advantageous.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex financial data into meaningful insights and recommendations, dashboard creation for the use of executive leaders.
- Ability to think both strategically and tactically about business problems while helping craft the story around the business
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to think creatively and identify innovative solutions to complex problems
- Exceptional attention to detail, with a commitment to accuracy and thoroughness in all work.
- Experience working with large datasets and financial systems such as Anaplan
Bonus Skills​
- SQL knowledge is a plus
- Prior experience working within SAAS / software / technology sector
