The Client Build Systems team develops and maintains infrastructure platforms and solutions that support hundreds of developers at Twitch. We are looking for a Systems Development Engineer who embodies customer obsession and who prioritizes operational excellence. Along with your peers, you'll help maintain and enhance Twitch's Client Build Tools, including management of TeamCity, Artifactory, CodeArtifact, and broad AWS account management. Additionally, you'll solve high-leverage infrastructure problems in elegant and reusable ways, being a force multiplier for software developers within Twitch. You will report to the Manager of Client Build Systems.

• Deliver new features and capabilities on Twitch's AWS infrastructure and CI/CD platform strategic roadmaps by writing IAC and automation
• Partner with development teams to provide infrastructure and CI/CD best practices and patterns
• Operate critical third-party infrastructure and builder tools like GitHub Enterprise, TeamCity, and Artifactory, in a highly available fashion
• Partner with Security and Operational Excellence teams to implement security controls and improve resilience of Twitch AWS accounts
• Level up Twitch's cloud capabilities by continually learning about AWS products. Identify opportunities to solve broad problems with native AWS products

• 5+ years of experience building, maintaining, and supporting high scale, business critical systems in a cloud environment
• 5+ years of experience automating administrative and configuration tasks
• Proficiency in one of the following languages: Python, Bash, PowerShell, Go, or TypeScript
• Strong understanding of Infrastructure as Code concepts

• Strong understanding of Microservice Architecture concepts
• Experience with AWS and AWS CDK Infrastructure-as-code
• Experience managing builder tools including code repositories and CI/CD pipelines

The base pay range for this position in Colorado, Connecticut, Washington and New Jersey is $151,200 - $204,600 yr and in New York City is $166,300 - $225,000 yr. Pay is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A sign-on payment and restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.
