Job Description

Key Responsibilities:
• Manage and maintain Windows server environments, ensuring optimal performance and availability.
• Deploy, configure, and manage Hyper-V virtual environments.
• Oversee and manage storage solutions, ensuring data integrity and availability.
• Implement and manage Azure cloud services, including virtual machines, storage accounts, and networking.
• Automate file delivery and other repetitive tasks using cron jobs or equivalent scheduling tools.
• Administer and maintain SQL databases, ensuring high availability, performance, and security.
• Configure and manage Fortigate and Unifi firewalls, ensuring network security and performance.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize system configurations.
• Ensure security and compliance by implementing best practices and security policies.
• Provide technical support and guidance to end-users and internal teams.
• Perform regular system backups and disaster recovery planning.
•Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure our infrastructure remains current and efficient.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Proven experience as a Windows System Administrator.
• Expertise in Hyper-V virtualization technology.
• Strong knowledge of storage solutions (SAN, NAS, etc.).
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure Resources.
• Proficiency in Windows Server OS (2012, 2016, 2019, etc.).
• Familiarity with PowerShell and other scripting languages.
• Experience with automation tools and scheduling tasks (e.g., cron jobs).
• Strong knowledge of SQL Database administration.
• Experience configuring and managing Fortigate and Unifi firewalls.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, MCSA: Windows Server).
• Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., Hyper-V).
• Knowledge of networking principles and protocols.
• Experience with additional database management systems (e.g., MS SQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL).
• Certifications in firewall technologies (e.g., Fortinet NSE, Ubiquiti).
