Job Summary:

The System Integration and Test (SI&T) Directorate is responsible for integration, test, and validation activities for RMD programs. SI&T employees provide the expertise to ensure customer success through the development and execution of innovative and comprehensive test, verification, and validation strategies, processes, tools, and techniques. SI&T employees are involved in all aspects of test including design-for-test, integration, sub-system, and component level testing and sell-off of RMD's most sophisticated systems and technologies. Responsibilities to Anticipate:

• Support planning, design and execution of integration and verification tests for hardware and software modifications
• Support test planning, execution, analysis, and reporting
• Prepare plans, procedures, and test cases
• Perform analysis of regression test of the radar software
• Perform data analysis of radar hardware, software, and simulations
• Complete and compiled detailed performance processes, including the use of analysis tools, such as MATLAB
• Ensuring that the test and evaluation processes are conducted according to established procedures for software and hardware
• Prepare and present results in reports and briefings to internal or external stakeholder

Qualifications You Must Have:

• Bachelor's Degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) or related discipline
• Typically requires 5 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree (Masters) with minimum 3 years of prior relevant experience. Relevant experience includes Systems Engineering and/or System Integration, Verification and Validation experience for Department of Defense systems
• Experience as a radar systems engineer with one or more of the following; developing radars or radar sub-systems, operating radars, testing radars, developing software for radar systems
• Ability to occasionally travel while supporting test program objectives
• Proficient written and verbal communication skills
• Experience performing validation and verification execution, dry runs and runs for record.
• Experience presenting data and explaining results to an Integration/Test Lead
• Ability to receive and understand technical direction and work with others in both an office and laboratory environment
• Experience with programming in MATLAB, C/C++, Python, or other programming language
• This position requires the eligibility to obtain a security clearance. Except in rare circumstances, only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

Qualifications We Value:

• Experience with Microsoft Office, MATLAB, and Linux Operating Systems.
• Knowledge of hardware, software, configuration, and operations of a software in the loop simulation.
• General understanding of Data Distribution Service (DDS), Quality of Service (QoS) and other basic networking principles.
• Familiarity with Linux and Shell scripting.
• Experience installing software and performing general system maintenance tasks.
• Experience with creating plans, test scripts, and/or conducting performance analysis
• Experience developing test plans, procedures, and analysis scripts for verifying and validating radar performance requirements and analyzing the data.
• Strong customer interaction skills and willingness to perform tasks at a customer site.
