Position Summary: As a Senior Systems Engineer, you will lead the design and development of features and solutions for our pioneering medical device equipment. Your role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, ensuring technical execution aligns with system performance goals, and meeting Quality Management System requirements. Take charge of initiatives from kickoff to successful implementation, ensuring timely delivery within scope.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide technical leadership in a fast-paced product development environment.
- Drive process controls for quality, cost, and delivery standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project needs and develop innovative solutions.
- Oversee Verification and Validation of all product requirements.
- Develop system hardware and software architecture.
- Ensure compliance with Agiliti Design and Development process, seeking continuous improvement.
- Manage technical program risks, integration risks, and design tradeoffs across sites.
- Maintain consistent professional communication deliverables.
Note: This description may not cover all duties, and incumbents may be expected to perform other tasks essential for department operations.
Required Experience:
- Technical Bachelor's degree (BS) is required.
- 8 to 10 years of experience in Engineering and technical project leadership.
- Exceptional interpersonal communication and presentation skills.
- Experience in Healthcare product development or similarly Federally regulated field.
Required Skills & Abilities:
- Familiarity with requirements management tools (DOORS, Polarion, Jira, etc.).
- Analytical Thinking - Capable of understanding and solving complex technical problems.
- Strategic Perspective - Able to keep overall objectives and strategies in mind.
- Applying Standards - Effective application of relevant industry and process standards.
- Ability to travel up to 20%.
