Senior Systems Engineer
Job Description
a.i. solutions is seeking a highly-motivated Systems Engineer to support the Reagan Test Site (RTS) Engineering and Technical Services (RETS) Program in Huntsville, AL. The Systems Engineer will support ballistic missile, guided weapon and aeronautical tests and evaluations as well as support space situational awareness operations and experiments. The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to embrace the a.i. solutions mission and work to continually exceed the expectations of our customers.
Essential Roles and Responsibilities:
- Serve on console to support real-time flight test execution as instrumentation controller or analytical positions
- Assist in the design of test plans in support of user requirements for complex missile flight tests
- Participate in risk management assessment and software/hardware development of test configurations
- Provide support for radar project development
- Assist in diagnostic efforts related to problems uncovered by system tests
- Provide recommendations for system improvements and modifications
- Share knowledge and lessons learned with coworkers
- Work closely with remote staff to accomplish engineering activities
- Execute simultaneous tasks within broadly defined parameters
- Support occasional travel to remote location
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in a related engineering/science discipline
- Active DoD secret security clearance or ability to obtain prior to start.
- 2+ years of relevant experience in systems engineering.
- Experience with MATLAB, UNIX/LINUX, and MS Office
