Your expertise in Requirements Management, System Design, Verification, and Project Management will enable you to drive impactful projects and mentor other engineers, shaping the next generation of secure communications technology.While knowledge of secure systems, secure software development, or crypto applications is preferred, it's not a deal-breaker. - Lead Systems Development: Collaborate with cross-functional project teams to define requirements, implement software, and oversee test case development, verification test execution, and certification support.
- Design Embedded Solutions: Take the lead in designing and developing advanced embedded cryptographic solutions and communications products, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
- Mentor and Empower: Provide guidance and mentorship to fellow software developers, enhancing both technical proficiency and process optimization while cultivating a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Enhance Security and Reliability: Play a pivotal role in shaping products that significantly bolster the security and reliability of critical communications infrastructure.
- Achieving Superior Results and Project Management: Master the skills needed to consistently deliver high-quality outcomes while adeptly managing project timelines and milestones.
- Advanced Team Collaboration: Develop the ability to build and maintain strong collaborative relationships with colleagues, both in-person and virtually, to create a positive and productive work environment.
- Expertise in Systems Integration: Gain in-depth, hands-on experience in integrating complex system hardware and software components, significantly enhancing your technical proficiency and problem-solving capabilities.
- Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience.
- The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
- Experience leading teams and managing projects through the full software lifecycle.
- Comfortable working with embedded Linux devices and development environment
- Exposure to crypto algorithms and their implementation
- Ability to mentor engineers on systems engineering development skills and practices.
- Strong desire to collaborate in a team environment, with experience in Agile methodologies.
- Proven track record of meeting project milestones and driving process efficiency improvements.
- Proficiency in scripting languages like Python and experience with IP networking and networking protocols.
