Applied Signal Technology: WHO WE AREWhat You Will Do:

• Apply your systems integration and test experience to support various product integration, verification, deployment, and sustainment of our advanced telecommunication processing systems.
• Contribute to and be an integral part of multi-discipline engineering project teams and be challenged by real-work assignments that include any combination of: Technical research, concept demonstration, technical documentation, and technical presentations.
• System I&T plan and procedure development for both laboratory and field environments for demonstration and/or requirement sell-off.
• System deployments (installation, integration/validation/verification), including travel to customer premises.
• Technical proposals and request for information (RFI) support including writing draft technical volumes and Basis of Estimates (BOEs).
• Travel up to 15% travel time to other AST sites and customer sites to support customers meetings and demonstrations, system deployments (installation, integration/validation/verification).

Qualifications You Must Have:

• Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience.
• Experience performing system integration, verification, and validation of telecommunications signal processing systems.
• The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued TS/SCI security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Qualifications We Prefer:

• Active Top Secret/SCI security clearance.
• Experience with telecommunication standards within the mobile network architecture. Experience with the 5G core network standards is highly desirable.
• Experience with AWS cloud technologies, Ansible, Rocky/CentOS, Kickstart, and/or related Linux-based technologies.
• Experience with laboratory and field testing and troubleshooting of Linux-based software systems to the hardware, software and/or firmware unit levels.
• Experience with Snowball Edge devices.
• Experience with C++ Linux application development using agile software development methodologies.

The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
