Senior Systems Security Engineer

Imprivata, Inc. seeks a Sr. Systems Security Engineer in Waltham, MA.
Duties: Collaborate with other senior engineers on overall architecture and technical delivery of Imprivata's core infrastructure. Coach and mentor engineers in system administration and security scripting/programming. Continuously evaluate the current infrastructure stack and advise on improvements and ways to close potential security gaps. Conduct and oversee code submission, code reviews, and configuration management. Participate in research and response to security inquiries. Participate in troubleshooting and resolution of customer issues. Provide support to customer, as well as training to field employees on core product set.
100% telecommuting permitted within the U.S.
The position requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field, plus 5 years of experience as a Systems engineer or related role.
Requires 5 years of experience in the following skills:
• Linux operating systems.
• Security reviews of infrastructure and continuous patching of systems.
• Building software solution stacks.
Requires 2 years of experience in the following skills:
• SELinux or AppArmor.
• SaaS and PaaS.
Requires up to 10% travel throughout the U.S.
