The Gogo Business Aviation Senior Systems Verification Engineer will be responsible for the enterprise test planning, aiding with system specification and integration definition, supporting field testing, and facilitating user acceptance and operation readiness testing for aviation telecommunications equipment.

How will you make a difference?

• Collaborate regularly with engineering and non-engineering stakeholders to support integration test planning and execution
• Effectively communicate complex system features and integrations to engineering and non-engineering stakeholders
• Facilitate user acceptance/operation readiness testing for a diverse set of cross-functional teams
• Diplomatically communicate technical issues and resolution paths to a variety of engineering and business stakeholders
• Lead conversations with 3rd party vendors and contractors to align test efforts across multiple organizations/plans
• Create and manage system test plans for both large multi-system programs and smaller hardware/software efforts
• Oversee and facilitate integration test guidance and gap analysis based upon system and business requirements as well as implementation insights
• Contribute to system design and specification for new products and software programs via design/requirement reviews and system integration consultation
• Generate guidance for test phases covering the entire product life cycle, including proof of concept, lab, field (drive/flight testing), and production testing
• Validate system design per high level requirement specifications collaboratively with cross-functional delivery teams

Qualifications

• BS Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent experience
• 5+ years systems engineering, system test, or equivalent experience
• 2+ years' experience leading system integration/verification efforts, or equivalent experience

Required Experience, Skills and Talents

• Extensive experience delivering embedded hardware and software products following traditional V-Model SDLC processes
• Has developed/executed on detailed integration test plans for systems comprised of multiple varied subsystems
• Skilled in designing, coordinating, and facilitating User Acceptance/Operational Readiness Test events for multiple stakeholders
• Can generate test plans, test reports, and communicating the results to engineering leadership and other stakeholders
• Experience conducting requirements analysis and reviewing detailed designs for testability

Desired Experience, Skills and Talents

• Experience working with embedded Linux based systems and command line/shell usage
• Has worked in a configuration controlled and government regulated (DO-160, DO-178, DO-254) environment
• Knowledge of avionics systems and their interrelation and interconnection
• Practical experience with wireless technologies and/or satellite communication such as 802.11a/b/g/n/ac, CDMA, LTE, Iridium, Ka, etc
• Familiarity with Business management systems (PLM, CRM, ERP systems) and how they affect product delivery and lifecycle
• Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies

Base Pay:
105,600.00 - 132,000.00 USD Annual
Target Annual Short-Term Incentive:
Bonus Plan at 10% (% of Annualized Base Pay)
