Why we need you:
- Wisk is starting a new exciting development phase focused on the implementation and integration of our Generation all-electric, autonomous, eVTOL design. We are looking for a Senior System Verification Engineer with relevant experience on developing and performing test procedures for control systems, a professional with relevant experience on supporting system integration and debugging for both ground and flight tests.Â
- You will be working directly with the team responsible for the design of our Vehicle Management System and embedded software and will help us to expand on our responsibility to deliver a product compliant to a reliable and safe operation.Â
- The successful candidate has proven experience with highly integrated, safe critical systems (aerospace preferred). The candidate should be proactive, self-motivated, able to work in ambiguous situations, and have good prioritization skills.Â
What you will do:
- Direct influence and contribute with our V&V strategy, build and promote good practices to enable a quality design;
- Write and execute test procedures and related reports;
- Perform troubleshooting and drive design change approvals;
- Track and provide visibility over the integration campaign progress;
- Work with design team to drive mandatory changes.;
- Work with the Test Organization to drive improvements to our integration infrastructure;Â
- Support design review and approval.Â
What you have done:
- B.S. in engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace or other with relevant formation for this position)
- 8 years experience in control systems development and verification;
- Experience with ARP4754, ARP4761Â
- Familiarity with DO-160, DO-178, DO-254
- Experience in requirements management tools such as Polarion, Doors, Requiem etc.Â
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Desired:
- Experience with Matlab /Simulink
- Experience with Agile Methodology
- Experience with an aircraft or UAM development program
