About the Job

Join an elite team of highly skilled Data Engineering and Business Intelligence professionals to play a key role in designing, building and executing data models, dynamic scorecards, dashboards, data studies and cohort analyses in Tableau. The models and intelligent KPI reports that you create will be used to evaluate and optimize current and new business strategies, product mix, marketing strategies - all of which are aimed at growing our business.

Job Description

• Work with business stakeholders on effective data storytelling leveraging Tableau
• Develop and implement meaningful metrics, dashboards, and reports for end-users and leadership in Tableau.
• Partner closely with our top notch Data Engineering team
• Interpret data outputs and articulating findings to the leadership team
• Lead engagement workstreams to meet milestones on time
• Manage risks and utilize creative problem solving techniques
• Gather business requirements, conduct technical analysis and design, coding, testing, and implementation of customizations within an enterprise development environment
• Interact, partner, and work closely with key business stakeholders and external customers to understand their business needs and requests

Requirements

• Extensive Tableau experience, to include proficiency in utilizing Tableau Prep and Tableau Desktop to address business needs
• Solid understanding of data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) principles
• Possess the ability to confidently and successfully interact closely with key stakeholders, understand their needs and build strong aids accordingly
• Ability to build workflows and processes within Tableau
• Strong knowledge of SaaS metrics and KPIs
• Exceptional written and oral communication skills
• A positive mindset, team-oriented, results driven, and organized

Preferred

• Have a background in finance, economics, and business concepts
• Experience working within MySQL database or other relational databases + strong SQL skills
• Knowledge of Python for data engineering
