Job Description

Concord Group Insurance is seeking a motivated and talented Senior Talent Acquisition Lead. This job directs and coordinates activities responsible for attracting external candidates for hiring consideration and identifying internal candidates for other opportunities. Additional responsibilities include coordinating and attending Company functions, along with the handling of confidential matters that may arise. Work is performed independently.

Responsibilities

  • Identify qualified candidates through the attendance of a variety of recruiting functions, job postings, referrals, networking and other recruiting resources and tools.
  • Generate a high interest level among candidates and maintain that interest through consistent contact and follow up.
  • Implement and utilize appropriate sourcing strategies to improve the quality and speed of the hiring process.
  • Create, maintain and report recruiting metrics.
  • Operate and maintain applicant tracking systems and candidate management processes.
  • Assist with the coordination and maintenance of the companywide talent management and succession planning programs.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand job requirements and expectations for open positions.
  • Aid management by:
    • coordinating an area's activities and services; and
    • keeping management informed of progress in meeting objectives and problems involving area activities and services.
  • Recommend solutions to problems and coordinate the implementation of the approved solution.
  • Analyze the policies and procedures for assigned area of responsibility, communicate any changes to the impacted associates, and coordinate the implementation of the approved changes.
  • Review files, documentation, and correspondence and respond appropriately.
  • Coordinate all aspect of assigned projects by working independently and/or with associates inside and outside assigned area of responsibility.
  • Work with vendors and/or employees of our affiliate companies, as necessary, when completing assigned work and projects.
  • Travel to attend recruiting events, meetings and seminars as needed.
  • Lead or assist with the development and training of team members.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree, several years related experience or training, or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as instructions and policy and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to communicate, in both oral and written formats, in a polite, clear, concise, and accurate way.
  • Possess good problem resolution skills and good interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to understand and carry out complex instructions.
  • Demonstrates innovativeness and continually seeks more efficient ways to process and handle work.
  • Ability to train others.
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to work independently and/or as a member of a team.
  • Ability to maintain a professional image.
  • Intermediate MS skills to include Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel; ability to navigate web-based programs required
