The Job

Join Own, a dynamic and rapidly evolving company, as we seek a skilled and passionate Senior Talent Acquisition Partner with a focus on Technical Talent Acquisition. We are on the lookout for someone who can infuse energy into our recruitment process, bringing top-tier technical talent on board to meet our business needs. Success in this role will be marked by your ability to execute the full-cycle recruiting process effectively and establish strong credibility with internal stakeholders.

Your Day-to-Day Role

  • Lead full-cycle recruiting for various technical roles, spanning Product Development, Engineering operations, Enterprise IT, and Technical Services.
  • Manage an average requisition load of 10-20 across diverse business units concurrently.
  • Collaborate closely with hiring managers to craft clear job descriptions, offering consultative guidance and market insights while meeting hiring expectations.
  • Source passive candidates through various channels, leveraging social media and professional networks.
  • Maintain our applicant tracking system (Greenhouse), ensuring data integrity and compliance with legal requirements.
  • Present qualified candidates to hiring managers, providing clear and relevant candidate data.
  • Conduct phone screens, interviews, and coordinate candidate travel when necessary.
  • Develop, negotiate, and present job offers, preparing candidates for onboarding post-acceptance.
  • Maintain Greenhouse applicant tracking system and candidate workflows, producing activity and candidate tracking reports as needed.
  • Build long-term talent pipelines for key roles, ensuring a robust talent pool in a competitive market.
  • Partner effectively with HR Business Partners, Hiring Managers, and Senior Leaders.
  • Proactively set and manage expectations, monitor service level agreements, and ensure all parties are aligned throughout the hiring process.

Your Work Experience

  • 7+ years of successful full-cycle recruitment experience across various disciplines.
  • 5+ years of recent experience hiring technology talent, especially with a focus on Software Engineers, DevOps Engineers, and Product Managers, preferably within a SaaS company.
  • Proven ability in proactive recruitment using job boards, social media, and LinkedIn Recruiter.
  • In-depth knowledge of Boolean search and other web-based sourcing techniques.
  • Expertise in attracting passive candidates with outstanding follow-up and follow-through skills.
  • Act as a Recruiting Subject Matter Expert for internal and external clients.
  • Strong knowledge of pertinent employment laws at the state and federal level.
  • Excellent interpersonal, time management, and networking skills with the ability to influence and negotiate.
  • Strong writing skills for building job descriptions, creating employee value propositions, and onboarding tools.
  • Experience working with retained/contingent search firms, negotiating fees, and contracts.
  • Previous startup or staffing agency experience strongly preferred.
  • Previous experience recruiting for senior-level roles, particularly within technology.
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university is preferred.

Important Details

This is a full-time position. The ideal candidate will work out of our Englewood Cliffs, NJ office a minimum of 3 days per week to maximize collaboration and interaction with the business. Travel may be required.
