The Senior Talent Acquisition Partner (Sr TAP/Recruiter) will play an integral part in providing Mars Talent Acquisition services, including cross-segment recruitment expertise on all aspects of the hiring process for experienced hires in a fast paced and high demand talent market. A key focus will be on building a pipeline of potential candidates that align with Mars' business needs and Five Principles and ensuring all candidates receive the best-in-class experience. The Sr TAP will manage full life cycle recruiting for Mars. For the assigned functions/areas, the Sr TAP is responsible for ensuring that Mars attracts and selects high-performing, high potential associates who will drive the business forward. Full life cycle recruiting includes consulting with hiring managers to determine critical capabilities, designing the recruitment strategy, sourcing and pre-screening candidates with an Equity, Inclusion & Diversity mindset, and facilitating debrief meetings to ensure the highest quality candidates are hired. The Sr TAP will also work on continuous improvement projects and implement core talent acquisition tools.

What are we looking for?

  • Minimum qualification: University degree or equivalent
  • 5+ years of Talent Acquisition experience, preferably full life cycle recruitment experience for positions in a complex, diverse, and high growth business
  • Ability to compile and use data & insights to drive the right business outcomes. Proficient use of
  • Experience with standard applicable Applicant Tracking System (ATS) software, required
  • Experience with a Candidate Relationship Management (CRM) system and market intelligence tools (LinkedIn Talent Insights)
  • Ability to serve geographically distributed hiring managers while consistently delivering professional customer service
  • Ability to interpret process, practice local operational policies, address issues, troubleshoot for resolution and escalate issues to appropriate parties as needed
  • Ability to prioritize business and customer needs utilizing strong time management skills
  • Experience using various interviewing methods and assessment tools to assess and select the right talent for an organization and good diagnostic skills
  • Understanding of the traits, skills, and qualities required of prospective candidates for positions across levels and demonstrated track record of managing the selection process
  • Handle and maintain confidential and sensitive information

What will be your key responsibilities?

  • Develop recruitment strategies based on labor market analysis, bench marking and survey data
  • Work closely with hiring managers to determine core capabilities/experiences for success in the roles within their scope, create a strategy for filling these roles and work with hiring managers in attracting the diverse candidates with the right skills and capabilities
  • Manage the end-to-end full-life cycle recruiting process from intake, to job posting through the final stages (inclusive of offer recommendation and creation, negotiation, closing and onboarding)
  • Provide ongoing reporting regarding status of current open roles to P&O team and functional hiring manager & leaders
  • Proactively manage talent pipeline and maintain relationships for future opportunities including external agencies
  • Educate and advise hiring managers on selection best practices and Mars recruitment philosophy, policy, and process
  • Engage Rewards team in defining pay strategies for pay competitiveness in attracting talent while aligning to global pay principles
  • Partner and engage Sourcing team to maximize the overall collaborative relationship with prospective external candidates to enhance candidate experience
  • Effectively use relevant systems, tools, and programs to ensure alignment with organizational strategies and functional metrics
