Summary

Partner with human resources, business leaders and hiring managers on talent acquisition initiatives. Plan, develop, manage, and oversee talent acquisition and recruitment processes and strategy.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Develop talent acquisition strategies and hiring plans.

• Utilize knowledge of multiple recruiting resources.

• Confer with management and supervisors to identify personnel needs, job specifications, job duties, qualifications, and skills.

• Write job descriptions or reviews and edit job descriptions written by others.

• Interact and build successful relationships with senior management.

• Develop and maintain network of contacts to help identify and source qualified candidates.

• Participate in sourcing, interviewing, and selecting candidates for open positions.

• Work with hiring managers to create candidate assessments that focus on key soft and hard skills. Collaborate with managers on their hiring plan, making sure we are not just hiring fast but also smart.

• Coordinate participation in, set up display, and work at job fairs.

• Develop and maintain contacts with schools, alumni groups, and other public organizations to find and attract applicants.

• Make public presentations at schools, organizations, and job fairs regarding the organization and opportunities.

• Plan procedures for improving the candidate experience.

• Proven experience as a talent acquisition manager.

• Familiarity with a variety of different selection methods (interviews, assignments, psychological test, etc.).

• Hands on experience posting jobs on social media and job boards.

• Experience with HRIS and ATS systems (UKG Pro preferred).

• A sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on the company's success.

• Great interpersonal and communication skills.

• Strong knowledge of Human Resources law.

Education and/or Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field, or equivalent work experience, required.

• At least five years managing all phases of the recruitment and hiring process highly preferred.

Language Skills

• Ability to write professionally for multiple outlets that conform to prescribed style and format.

• Ability to verbally communicate effectively.

Reasoning Ability

• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.

• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Computer Skills

• To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of UKG Pro Human Resource systems.

• Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook, Visio).

Work Environment

• Work is typically performed in an office environment, where ambient temperatures, lighting and typical office equipment are found. Occasional exposure to manufacturing areas where temperature may vary, and personal protective equipment is required.
