Senior Tax Accountant

Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Tax Accountant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge in tax accounting, corporate accounting, and financial reporting. The Tax Accountant will play a crucial role in ensuring compliance with tax regulations while optimizing our clients' tax planning. You will be responsible for managing complex tax issues, ensuring compliance with relevant laws. Responsibilities • Prepare tax returns primarily for Form 1040, 1065, 1120/1120S. • Prepare client financial statements/bookkeeping. Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Taxation, Accounting or Finance • Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in public accounting or a combination of 8 years tax preparation and financial accounting roles • Proven experience as a Tax Accountant or similar role. • Strong knowledge of financial accounting principles and practices. • Proficiency in financial report interpretation and analysis. • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. • Strong analytical skills with the ability to solve complex problems effectively. • Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations affecting clients' financial situations • Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, and Quicken for efficient reporting • Exceptional communication skills to effectively convey financial concepts to clients If you are a dedicated professional looking to advance your career in tax accounting while making a significant impact on our clients' financial success, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
