Position Overview: We are seeking an experiencedSenior Tax Accountantto join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys managing client relationships, reviewing complex returns, and mentoring staff β€” all while maintaining a healthy work-life balance. Key Responsibilities: β€’ Prepare and review complex individual, corporate, and partnership tax returns. β€’ Conduct tax research and stay up to date on federal and state tax regulations. β€’ Manage multiple client engagements, ensuring quality and timely deliverables. β€’ Supervise and mentor junior staff, providing guidance and reviewing their work. β€’ Assist clients with tax planning strategies to minimize liabilities. β€’ Communicate directly with clients, providing exceptional service and proactive advice. Qualifications: β€’ Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field; Master’s in Taxation a plus. β€’ Active CPA license preferred. β€’ Minimum 3–5 years of recent public accounting tax experience. β€’ Strong technical knowledge in federal and state taxation for individuals, corporations, and partnerships. β€’ Experience reviewing complex returns and managing multiple engagements. β€’ Proficiency with tax preparation software (e.g., UltraTax, ProSystem fx, or similar) and Microsoft Office Suite. β€’ Excellent communication, organization, and leadership skills.
