Job description
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Staff Accountant with 3 years or longer of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in preparing tax returns for high-net-worth individuals, partnerships (1065), S corporations (1120S), and C corporations (1120). Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and review tax returns for high-net-worth individuals, partnerships (1065), S corporations (1120S), and C corporations (1120).
• Perform tax research and stay up-to-date with tax regulations and laws.
• Assist in tax planning and provide strategic tax advice to clients.
• Collaborate with clients to gather necessary information and ensure accurate and timely filing of tax returns.
• Support senior accountants and partners with various accounting and tax-related tasks.
• Maintain organized and detailed work papers and documentation.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• CPA certification or progress towards certification is preferred.
• 2-5 years of relevant accounting and tax experience.
• Proficiency in tax preparation software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
