Senior Tax Analyst

About the Role

We're in search of a Senior Tax Analyst to handle our worldwide tax compliance operations and manage the filing of tax documents across multiple countries. You will work closely with external advisors to ensure that tax documents are prepared accurately and that we remain compliant worldwide.

As the Sr Tax Analyst you will organize and coordinate monthly, bi-monthly, and quarterly indirect tax filings in both US and international regions.You will work closely with external advisors to ensure that tax documents are prepared accurately and that we remain compliant worldwide.

A Day in the life of our Sr Tax Analyst

• Coordinate monthly/bi-monthly/quarterly data files for indirect tax filings for US and non-US jurisdictions.
• Collaborate with external consultants to prepare tax filings and ensure global tax compliance.
• Demonstrate comprehensive understanding of US sales tax and non-US indirect tax domain.
• Reconcile tax accruals in the books with tax liabilities actually reported and paid in the tax returns.
• Assist and collaborate with other departments for all tax related questions.
• Help analyze transfer pricing approach for multiple related party transactions globally.
• Prepare transfer pricing documentation and filing requirements.
• Monitor the tax engine, on a periodic basis, for verification and application of tax rates on all global transactions.

You will directly report to the Global Tax Manager and we are looking for candidates to join our team from any of our three US offices; Dallas, San Fransisco or LA.

About You

• Holds a Bachelor's degree in Tax, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Have 5+ years of experience in international VAT and GST taxation.
• Have experience in indirect taxation with an accounting firm or within a corporate tax division.
• Demonstrate knowledge of tax laws, accounting standards, data analysis, and best practices in taxation.
• Have a solid operational understanding of transfer pricing standards and OECD regulations.
• Experienced with licensing agreements and the management of related contractual payment obligations.
