Build the future of data. Join the Snowflake tax team. We are seeking an International Senior Tax Analyst to join our team. This position will report to the Director, International Tax and will interact with other key members of the US and International tax team and statutory accounting teams in India, US, and Netherlands. The position will support all aspects of foreign income tax compliance and reporting for Snowflake international entities. This position is based in Pune, India.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare/assist with various tax calculations to support the preparation of foreign tax returns.
  • Gather/analyze data required to prepare tax return workpapers and documentation.
  • Prepare tax account reconciliations as part of the financial statement close process.
  • Coordinate and work with local service providers to provide information and review foreign tax return calculations and local tax filings.
  • Maintain the foreign tax compliance and transfer pricing reporting calendar.
  • Assist with international tax audit notices and inquiries.
  • Assist with withholding tax matters relating to international transactions.
  • Research international tax issues and draft memoranda.
  • Support process improvements, automation / tax technology initiatives and SOX controls.
  • Assist in other Ad hoc tax projects.

Education and Experience:
  • BA/BS in Accounting, Finance, or related field; Master of Taxation is preferred.
  • 6 to 8 years' experience in public accounting and/or equivalent industry experience.
  • Experience with U.S. income tax rules and regulations is preferred.
  • Sound knowledge of corporate and international tax laws
  • Keen understanding of corporate tax compliance and reporting processes
  • Exhibit problem solving skills, organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • A willing team player with solid verbal and written communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
