Senior Tax Manager
Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Tax Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in tax accounting and financial planning, with the ability to navigate complex tax regulations and provide strategic insights for our clients. This role requires a high level of technical expertise in accounting software and public accounting practices, as well as the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
Duties
β’ Prepare and review complex federal, state, and local tax returns for Individual, Partnership, Corporate, and Trust; ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
β’ Conduct thorough tax research and analysis to identify tax-saving opportunities for clients.
β’ Assist in the development of tax strategies that align with clients' financial goals, including private equity investments and financial sales initiatives.
β’ Collaborate with other accounting professionals to ensure accurate financial reporting and adherence to technical accounting standards.
β’ Provide guidance on financial planning matters, helping clients make informed investment decisions.
β’ Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations that may impact client accounts or business operations.
β’ Mentor junior staff members, providing training on best practices in tax preparation and accounting software usage.
Requirements
β’ Bachelorβs degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA designation preferred.
β’ Minimum of 5 years of experience in public accounting or a similar role focused on tax accounting.
β’ Strong knowledge of tax regulations, compliance requirements, and financial accounting principles.
β’ Proficiency in accounting software applications; experience with advanced financial tools and Lacerte is a plus.
Β· Well-versed in advanced corporate, partnership, and individual returns with experience reviewing
β’ Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
β’ Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to clients and team members.
β’ Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
β’ Experience in private equity or financial planning is highly desirable but not mandatory.

Pay: $110,000.00 - $145,000.00 per year
