Job Description
JOB PURPOSE
As a Senior Team Leader, you are responsible for supporting, managing, and developing your team. This role serves to assist general management while providing superior customer service and support. Â
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Drive sales for each individual broker on your team through lead generation. Send leads with your leads distro copied in to track progress.
- Conduct all Account Reviews with brokers at their scheduled time weekly and email your brokers after review is completed with action items for the following week
- Conduct all Lead Meetings with brokers at their scheduled time weekly and email your brokers after review is completed with action items for the following week
- Submit Retention Reports to GM/AGM each Monday
- Call and/or move accounts coming stale on your team to ensure retention is high
- Roll out sales action items as instructed by senior leadership
- Create growth plans for your teams in sales, personal development and account management. Done through PDP’s, direct coaching, disciplinary meetings (when necessary) and through leading by example
- Call all accounts for broker when covering for PTO
- Conduct monthly goal meetings and mid-month meetings when warranted based on performance of the first half of the month. Meetings should be more than discussing their goals, they should map out what can be done to get where we need them to be.
- Organize and follow up on any outside sales visits
- Hold disciplinary meetings when warranted and email recaps to employees afterwards with [email protected] in copy
- Keep track of and update all customer SOP’s, R&R’s, whale lists, and other documents needed for team organization.
- Responsible for working with and training select TLs in office
- Monthly feedback surrounding growth
- Rolling out weekly action items to TLs responsible for
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field.
- 0-2 years’ experience preferred. (changed this to be more accurate)
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills; ability to communicate with various levels of leadership
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
- Ability to lead and develop a team of employees
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common industry documents and reports. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the transportation and business community. Ability to effectively communicate and mediate with all levels of management within the company.Â
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, and basic arithmetic.Â
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.Â
- To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Office and related computer programs.Â

WORK ENVIRONMENT

SCHEDULING
This is a full-time benefits-eligible position, working Monday through Friday; 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
