Position Summary
BB, GCB and GCIB Technology is a 400+ member global organization delivering innovative technology solutions to create competitive advantage for Business Banking, Global Commercial Banking and Global Corporate & Investment Banking lines of businesses. The Technology Delivery Strategy Lead for our org is a member of the senior leadership team and acts as a connection point across a broad set of horizontal functions to develop integrated technology strategy and enable successful execution of key strategic priorities.
Responsibilities:
  • Direct support to the Global Head of BB, GCB and GCIB Technology including formulation/execution of GCIB's technology strategy to support delivery of critical objectives & commitments
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders on strategic planning and prioritization of ideas through consolidated view for decisioning
  • Work with technology platform owners in designing, developing, and delivering under a SAFE Agile environment, including technology and capabilities strategy, platform roadmaps, project proposals, analytical insights, and more as appropriate
  • Start with the function, as a co-director with the HK based Senior Tech Manager, the single point of contact for the US Global Investment Banking Technology to direct the development and implementation of various Banker Central program initiatives, including resolving issues, managing day to day project, program funding and program governance activities
  • Collaborate with senior GCIB executives to define various strategic initiatives in support of LOB goals
  • Drive human capital/talent management processes, hiring and staffing strategies and execution

Required Skills:
  • Experience leading large-scale program and project efforts
  • Ability to plan and direct routines and reporting to drive accountability, transparency, and collaboration.
  • Ability to drive and promote strategy
  • Ability to analyze business requirements and propose various solutions
  • Tech Management working in a Technical Environment
  • To be able to work in team environment and co-ordinate with developers on the day-to-day deliverables using lean agile principles
  • Liaise with senior stakeholders
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills and enjoys a collaborative environment.
  • Flexible, self-starter, fast-learner - willing and able to quickly learn new technologies and skills.
  • Experience with enhancing and maintaining mission-critical software in a fast-paced environment is a plus.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven track record of running a technical team
  • Financial services experience with exposure to regulatory requirements
  • This is a senior leadership role, which involves managing development & delivery teams located in multiple regions, while also facing off to senior management and stakeholders globally
  • 10+ years overall experience required, 5+ years' experience in organization/program/ delivery management
  • Knowledge and experience in banking or capital markets or risk is required
