Senior Technical Account Manager (Games)

We drive adoption and usage for Unreal Engine and provide our customers with the tools and support to make amazing visual projects in the Unreal Engine.

What You'll Do

As an Epic Technical Account manager you will be responsible for owning the technical relationship with game developers using Epic’s product offerings. Responsibilities will also include prioritizing the feature requests that will enable these products to grow into the future.

In this role, you will

• Manage Epic Games’ technical relationship with some of the world’s most innovative game developers
• Provide high touch technical and general support to top customers, navigating team dynamics and technical issues to help ensure our priority customers are successful in their utilization of Epic tools
• Assist our customers in shipping industry-leading game experiences across mobile, PC, console or all of the above (travel may be required up to 30% of the time)
• Identify opportunities where game developers and Epic Games can mutually benefit from additional technical relationships
• Identify and improve gaps in process and communications, both within Epic Games and externally

What we're looking for

• A passion for games, the games industry, and game technology
• Proactive, inclusive personality that feels comfortable in a customer-facing role
• Self-starter – takes ownership of the technical relationship with developers and works proactively to set up systems to smooth the road from evaluation to adoption
• Experience in game development, production, or other related areas
• Shipped console, PC, or mobile, title experience is a plus
• Experience in digital storefronts and/or online game services is a plus
• Experience in Unreal Engine 5 or other current engines is a plus
• Willing to travel up to 30% of the time

Compensation varies based on a variety of factors, which include (but aren’t limited to) things such as skills and competencies, qualifications, knowledge, and experience. In addition to base pay, most employees are eligible to participate in Epic’s generous benefit plans and discretionary incentive programs (subject to the terms of those plans or programs).
