The Senior Analyst will be part of the Technical Accounting and Reporting team and will be responsible for assisting with the preparation of the Company's US GAAP financial statements, assist with implementation of technical accounting projects and maintain the Company's internal controls over financial reporting. The Senior Analyst - Technical Accounting and Reporting will assist with the documentation and proper recording of non-standard and complex transactions, such as acquisition accounting, new business processes, annual impairment testing and other unusual and non-recurring items. The individual will interact and provide support to many cross functional groups within the Company and will be an integral part of the development of accounting and financial reporting processes and controls. The successful candidate will possess the ability to research, interpret, and document technical accounting issues, provide thorough and insightful financial statement analysis, and effectively communicate through written and verbal channels.

The successful candidate will possess the ability to research, interpret, and document technical accounting issues, provide thorough and insightful financial statement analysis, and effectively communicate through written and verbal channels.
- Consolidate reporting templates and compile US GAAP financial statements, including cash flow statement for filings with SEC, state regulators and creditors.
- Assist with the timely preparation of monthly reporting for the senior management including qualitative and quantitative commentary of the company's operational results;
- Research, interpret and document technical accounting issues in well written position papers; coordinate review and conclusion of key judgements and estimates with management and external auditors;
- Assist with the documentation of accounting and reporting policies and procedures;
- Assists with the implementation of new accounting standards;
- Participate in the month-end close process by being responsible for accounting activities, such as investments, reserve estimates, intercompany transactions, account reconciliations, etc.;
- Assist with transaction accounting and business combinations, including purchase price allocation and initial accounting treatment;
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and drive the implementation of such improvements;
- Assist with Company's SOX compliance including developing, documenting and reviewing controls and procedures.
- Assist with a adhoc projects and controllership initiatives as required
Experience and Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years of related experience, mix of public accounting and industry experience preferred;
- Bachelors degree in Accounting.
- Solid understanding of US GAAP, including the ability to research and form own conclusions;
- Detail oriented with a high sense of urgency and exceptional organizational skills;
- Strong work ethic, ability to work independently, and a drive to learn and deliver results in a fast-moving company;
- Excellent oral and written communication skills and ability to communicate effectively with various organizational levels to achieve goals and meet deadlines;
- Willingness to respond and adjust to the changing business needs of a growing company;
- Advanced MS Excel skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- CPA or Masters Degree a strong plus
- Strong personality, able to work with, challenge and convince key stakeholders, driving to outcomes, with a determined focus to get thingsdone under tight timelines
- Experience with SEC filings and software e.g Active Disclosure a plus
