We are looking for a Senior Technical Accounting Manager as we accelerate our growth journey. Reporting to the Director of Technical Accounting, this position is a highly visible role within the organization. The person in this role will be a leader on the accounting team, partner and collaborate with various teams throughout the organization on technical accounting matters, play an instrumental role in managing all aspects of financial reporting process in compliance with GAAP reporting standards and maintain ultimate responsibility for successful resolution of complex technical accounting issues that require accounting judgment. A successful candidate will possess a strong set of research, communication, analytical and problem-solving skills; be able to coordinate and effectively lead projects to deliver strong results; be proactive and timeline-focused and have a passion for operational excellence and implementing best practices.

What you'll do:

• Serve as a subject matter expert on all non-revenue technical accounting matters via partnering with the Business on analyzing complex transactions and significant contracts to assess their accounting impact.
• Research technical accounting guidance and prepare memoranda for special transactions, including leases, stock-based compensation and M&A, ensuring accurate documentation of conclusions.
• Lead all aspects of the financial reporting process ensuring GAAP compliance, including preparation and review of financial statements, disclosures, supporting schedules and SOX packages.
• Proactively assess the impact of changes to GAAP and SEC reporting guidance on the Company's results and financial statements.
• Support accounting close process by reviewing lease account reconciliations, journal entries, equity rollforward, and monthly financial packages.
• Successfully manage the annual goodwill impairment assessment process, including preparation of technical accounting memoranda and review of 3rd party valuations.
• Update company policies within the area of responsibility, collaborate on technical accounting matters during M&A transactions, identify and implement process improvements for operational excellence.
• Perform and/or review key SOX controls and related documentation within the area of responsibility.
• Lead implementation of new accounting and financial reporting standards and provide guidance to the Business and US/ international accounting teams upon adoption.
• Serve as a key contact on all deliverables within their area of responsibility during the annual audits and quarterly reviews, ensure timely and successful completion of audit-related deliverables.
• Successfully coach, mentor, lead and develop a Senior Technical Accountant.
• Participate in projects or ad-hoc analysis in support of finance department and company initiatives.

What you'll bring:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, CPA preferred
• 7+ years of related technical accounting and SEC reporting experience, with a combination of public accounting and public company industry experience (preferred), Big 4 experience is a plus.
• Subject matter expert knowledge of GAAP and experience in reviewing and analyzing complex arrangements in accordance with applicable guidance.
• Subject matter expert knowledge of SEC reporting standards and strong working knowledge of SOX.
• Strong leadership skills

• Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills, with a sharp focus on details.
• Experience with scaling accounting processes and driving process improvements in a high-growth environment.
• Working knowledge of MS Excel; Oracle Cloud, Oracle, Visual Lease, Alteryx and other data analytic software is a plus
