We are looking for an eCommerce Solution Architect to design solutions tailored to business needs for our esteemed clients. This position presents the opportunity to work on client-facing, team-based projects, on a modern development stack, with a focus on CPG and Retail business and Commerce in general. You will participate in all aspects of the commerce project lifecycle, while solving challenging technical problems for our clients.

Information Security Responsibilities

• Awareness on information security measures such as acceptable use of information assets, malware protection, password security
• Understand and report security risks and how they impact the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information assets
• Understand how data is stored, processed, or transmitted from a Data privacy and protection standpoint

Job Description

• As a Sr Technical Architect, you will play a pivotal role in translating business requirements into scalable, reliable, and secure technology solutions for Consumer Business unit catering to Retail, Travel, Media and Entertainment Industry customers. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders across various departments to understand their needs and design innovative solutions that align with organizational objectives. Your expertise in architecture principles, technology trends, and industry best practices will drive the development of robust solutions that meet both current and future business needs.

Responsibilities:

• Requirement Analysis: Work closely with business stakeholders to gather and analyse requirements, ensuring a deep understanding of business processes, objectives, and challenges.
• Technical Design: Define Technical Architecture of applications, leveraging appropriate technologies, architectures, and methodologies. Ensure solutions are scalable, flexible, and aligned with enterprise architecture standards.
• Technical Guidance: Provide technical guidance to development teams throughout the solution development lifecycle. Mentor team members on architecture best practices and design principles.
• Architecture Development: Develop and maintain architecture artifacts, including architectural diagrams, design documents, and technical specifications. Ensure consistency and coherence across the solution architecture.
• Application Development: Contribute towards Application development, Code reviews , define and develop Architecture runway for new initiatives.
• Prototyping and Proof of Concept: Develop prototypes and proof-of-concept implementations to validate design concepts and demonstrate feasibility. Iterate on designs based on feedback and testing results.
• Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development, infrastructure, operations, and security teams within organization and customer organization to ensure seamless integration of components and alignment with objectives.
• Performance Optimization: Identify opportunities for performance optimization and scalability improvements within existing solutions. Implement optimizations to enhance system performance and reliability.
• Continuous Learning: Stay abreast of emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices in solution architecture. Continuously enhance knowledge and skills through self-study, training, and participation in professional communities.
• Contribute to New Business Opportunities:1. Provide solutioning of RFPs received from clients and ensure overall design assurance. Contribute towards estimation for Tech Solution designed. 

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field with 12+ years of experience.
• Proven track record in creating business value for Organization through technology solutions and Platform Implementations.
• Proven experience as a Sr Technical Architect or similar role in Retail / Ecommerce Domain, with a strong track record of designing and implementing complex solutions.
• Proven experience in microservices development in Retail Ecommerce applications with hands-on experience in SOLID Principles / DRY / YAGNI and microservices patterns.
• In-depth knowledge of software architecture principles, design patterns, and architectural styles (e.g., microservices, event-driven architecture with Kafka) and hands-on experience in implementation of Architecture patterns and styles.
• Proficiency in one or more programming languages & frameworks for modern microservices development (not limited to Java , Spring Boot , Micronaut / Node JS) and familiarity with modern software development practices (Agile, DevOps,SAFE).
• Experience in Implementation of Headless Commerce architecture with Ecommerce platforms leveraging API Gateway / GraphQL.
• Experience with any cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and familiarity with cloud-native architecture developing Highly Available and resilient microsystems
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and develop innovative technology solutions to business challenges.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
• Strong experience in Observability / Monitoring tools and ability to resolve technical issues in a distributed architecture.
• Self-driven professional with ability to work independently with Clients and deliver on Artifacts.
