About the Position

Lab49 is currently offering an opportunity for a Technical Business Analyst to contribute to complex and transformative projects for our esteemed financial services clients. Working within an Agile environment, the Technical Business Analyst will play a key role in the successful execution of engagements with our top-tier clients.

What You'll Be Doing

- Analyzing and understanding the current state of end-client applications and their functionalities.

- Creating and refining application requirements and use cases to enhance client-facing tools.

- Collaborating closely with stakeholders to design and optimize application features and user interfaces.

- Writing detailed user stories and managing the backlog to support application development and enhancement.

- Partnering with business and technical teams, including engineers, product owners, scrum masters, architects, and program managers, to deliver high-quality solutions.

Industry Expertise:

- Experience in consulting, particularly with customized application solutions for investment banking or global markets.

Business Analyst Skills:

- Experience in defining and documenting application requirements and user stories.

- Proven track record of working with application design, user interface considerations, and feature prioritization.

- Familiarity with Agile methodologies, including backlog management and sprint planning.

Consulting Skills:

- Strong ability to engage with stakeholders to elicit and refine application requirements.

- Proficiency in creating presentations and proposals to communicate application enhancements and project status.
