Senior Technical Configuration Analyst (SQL Developer)

As part of the Customer Success Management Team, the Senior Technical Configuration Analyst will provide various application and technical services as required in the day-to-day operational support for Datex's customers. They will be primarily responsible for APIs, EDI, EDI Server Management, and Windows Workflow Foundation deliverables related to technical issues and enhancement requests. They'll also work with system configuration and report building via SSRS and PowerBI.

The remote work for this role must be completed during U.S. Eastern Standard Time zone.

Role and Responsibilities

Client Responsibilities

• Act as the primary resource for client integrations
• Build strong relationships with the client(s)
• Participate in the client upgrade process
• Generate Level of Effort (LOE) proposals for integrations and other technical work
• Create, update, and support Workflows
• Provide training on new functionality specifically requested by the client
• Provide oversight and mentoring of other members of the Technical Configuration team

Technical Responsibilities

• Using technical skills, develop requested functionality for existing clients to increase their usage of Datex WMS software
• Work closely with the Customer Success Managers to facilitate priority and execution timelines
• Development and implementation of EDI (BizTalk Projects using C#, XSLT, SQL)
• Maintenance and monitoring of EDI infrastructure (BizTalk Server, SQL Server, and Windows Server)
• Development, support, and optimization of systems using Business Intelligence Tools (PowerBI, SSRS, and SSIS)
• API Development with JSON and XML (C#)
• Create and support Windows Workflow Foundation (Visual Basic)
• Development and implementation of third-party logistics applications
• Maintaining artifacts in DevOps and the support ticketing system
• Participating in the design of solutions to existing client requirements
• Proactively identify, develop, and execute training opportunities to enhance team members' technical skills
• Contribute to and collaborate on strategic and operational vision with management for the team
• Execute and streamline processes that positively impact team and operations

Requirements

Qualifications

• Associate or Undergraduate Degree in a relevant subject and/or technical training or minimum of 7 years of relevant experience, including integration implementations and support - specifically with APIs and EDIs (including BizTalk Server management)
• Previous EDI experience with AS2 and XSLT
• Strong SQL development knowledge
• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server (queries and optimization of SSRS and SSIS)
• Fundamental knowledge and understanding of Windows Workflow Foundation (Visual Basic)
• Ability to organize own work based on the priorities established
• Good communication skills - ability to communicate clearly and concisely in both verbal and written mediums
