Senior Technical Content Marketing Manager

• Develop and manage Tailscale’s content strategy, providing recommendations for the type of content required at various stages of the customer journey
• Use performance insights alongside competitive and market analysis to inform the content strategy
• Manage the editorial calendar including scheduling, publishing, and distributing content accordingly
• Author various forms of technical content including blog posts, landing pages, newsletters, tutorials, social posts, emails, ad copy, etc
• Monitor content performance and make adjustments where necessary, with particular attention to organic growth
• Conduct content audits, identify gaps, refresh existing content to improve performance and reflect product updates, and archive low-performing assets
• Define the editorial tone of voice and ensure consistency across all materials
• Hire, onboard, and manage content freelancers as needed

• 7+ years of technical content marketing experience
• A deep understanding of the developer, IT, and DevOps personas and technical audiences
• A high attention to detail and an eye for editorial accuracy

• Repurposed content and are comfortable with various distribution channels
• Experience in SEO, keyword research, and optimization
• An analytical mind with an enthusiasm for problem-solving and measuring the effectiveness of your work

• The ability to concept, create, and scale processes with lots of autonomy

• An affinity for complex, highly technical subjects
• Experience with creating (0-1) and scaling platforms and processes 
• Worked in DatoCMS
