SoFi is seeking a Contract - Senior Technical Program Manager to oversee and manage the operational aspects of ongoing Borrow/ Lending projects and serve as liaison between the project teams, internal cross functional teams, and the 3rd party partners and suppliers. The ideal candidate is hands-on, has the ability to communicate with technical and non-technical audiences, can balance multiple work streams simultaneously, and who has experience in ensuring key tasks for large scale projects are completed and remain on track.

Key responsibilities:
  • Ensure compliance and regulatory requirements are completed and on track for key technical 3rd party partner and supplier integrations
  • Manage requirements across several projects/ work streams simultaneously
  • Create a project plan that outlines the tasks, timelines, and resources required
  • Lead the collection of key data and reporting across remote product and engineering teams
  • Partner with cross-functional teams (Supplier Risk Management, Risk, Compliance, Product Management, Engineering, Data Science, etc) to ensure feedback and input is collected and stored in a central repository/ system of record
  • Take initiative and produce timely results in a fast-paced and sometimes ambiguous environment
  • Proactively solicit feedback from key stakeholders to ensure the process meets delivery expectations
  • Establish and maintain relationships with relevant client stakeholders, providing day-to-day contact on project status and changes
  • Report project outcomes and/or risks to the appropriate management channels and escalate issues, as necessary, according to project work plan

What you'll need:
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Business, or related field or equivalent experience
  • Organization and prioritization skills
  • Detail oriented and results driven
  • Strong communication skills
  • Experience delivery against key projects within a highly matrixed environment
  • 2+ years of Finance and/or Program Management experience preferred
  • Experience with financial products, banking industry or payments preferred
