Senior Technical Program Manager - Enterprise Applications

- Manage end-to-end cross-functional Enterprise Application/Business Systems focused programs, projects, integrations and migration efforts of varying scale from alignment of resources in the development of a business case through implementation planning, execution, enablement, change management and hypercare.
- Establish a work plan and staffing for initiative activities, managing expectations, scope creep and impacts to timelines; identify and track dependencies and opportunities for optimization and application rationalization; proactively identify problems and recommend solutions before they become blockers.
- Planning and execution of activities and aligning resources to ensure that cost, time, and quality goals are met.
- Deliver communications around goals, status, risks and impact with the ability to adapt content to your audience.
- Perform risk assessments and implement mitigation plans.
- Document, monitor and communicate assumptions and decisions made.
- Provide leadership and motivation to team members throughout the initiative life cycle and confer with resources to outline a work plan.
- Coordinate or compile the reporting of metrics to measure the success of meeting work effort and company goals.
- In cases where vendors are included in projects, collaborate on aligning and managing the progress of activities.
- Identify inter-dependencies between the various stakeholder groups to ensure all are aligned and risks are identified, mitigated, and communicated.
- Ensure that data governance approval processes, Business Systems controls, and best practices are being followed.
- Identify post-deployment tasks and issues, transitioning application administration to the support team and conducting post-mortems.
- Standardize project documentation as templates and maintaining documents, deliverables, issues, and risks on a centralized site.
This is a stand alone position that candidates will be required to work EST hours.
Candidates who live within a 45 mile radius of Waltham, MA/Detroit, MI/Denver, CO/Mountain View, CA will be required to work hybrid out of our offices.
Minimum Requirements:
- 10+ years of demonstrated end-to-end project and program management experience with large-scale implementations of projects/programs utilizing industry standard development and service delivery methodologies.
- HS Diploma or GED required.
Preferred Requirements:
- BA in an IT-related discipline or Business Management preferred.
- SaaS or software company experience required.
- 5+ years of IT experience, with sensitivity and commitment to business problem solving.
- 5+ years of Business Unit or Business Unit-facing experience.
- Exceptional communication, organizational, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills that promote teamwork and collaboration.
- Proficiency with MS Office, Confluence and JIRA.
- Expertise in setting and managing stakeholder expectations.
- Effective influencing and negotiating skills in an environment where this role may not directly control resources.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to frequent change.
- Current PMP/CSM/PMI-ACP or equivalent certification.
- Familiarity with Salesforce, NetSuite and SuccessFactors.
- Ability to quantify project/program success with cost and data related metrics.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to advocate a creative atmosphere, facilitate productive meetings, and envision a final product and user adoption early in the design and/or development process.
- Ability to develop cooperative relationships to achieve results through a win-win relationship.
- Ability to establish alliances with other departments and organizations by recognizing dependencies.
- Ability to identify project risks by defining risk strategies and developing the risk management plan.
- Participates as part of a team, understanding the various work styles of others and their roles on the team. Demonstrates enthusiasm and commitment to the goals and objectives of the team. Seeks help from other team members as appropriate.

DOE, salary $140K - $155K, plus Health, Dental, Life, STD, LTD, 401K, PTO. Total compensation may vary depending on candidate experience/education and location.
