Senior Technical Program Manager, Game Services

Bungie is seeking a Senior Technical Program Manager to work with our central technology teams in driving the direction and implementation of large-scale game service technologies. In this role, you will partner with an engineering lead to help guide teams and a wide array of partners in delivering modern online capabilities across Bungie games in service of our core purpose: creating worlds that inspire friendship.  You'll be on the front line of releasing our games to the world and making sure our systems stay online and available for our passionate fanbase, release-over-release.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Drive stakeholder alignment and team execution of online service deliverables across multiple game projects
• Balance schedules, team morale, budgets, and staffing alongside business needs and product vision to meet goals
• Identify and manage risks and establish risk mitigations
• Build, maintain, and communicate product roadmaps and statuses in support of immediate and long-term requirements
• Foster a strong working partnership with internal game, publishing, and technology teams
• Engage with external partners to explore, maintain, integrate, and build technology solutions
• Leverage a broad understanding of live services strategies, tools, and best practices to ensure excellence in both delivery of new capabilities and operational support of existing systems
• Champion security, privacy, and legal policies in accordance with company guidelines

REQUIRED SKILLS

• Experience running multiple projects and/or programs concurrently
• Proficiency at managing agile teams, running scrum processes, and coordinating multiple small team efforts
• Exemplary communication and stakeholder management skills: status reporting, conflict management and resolution, and establishing relationships across all levels of management and staff
• Enthusiasm for delivering technology solutions with engineering teams in the gaming industry

NICE-TO-HAVE SKILLS

• Familiarity with DevOps / service operations practices and experience working in a live service environment
• Completed a console or PC game cycle from start to finish, or two or more non-game project cycles
• PMI/PMP/Scrum Master certification, Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering, or comparable experience
